New Lens coming soon. I want a wide angle lens pretty bad. I am looking at the Canon 10-22 or the Sigma 10-20. The Sigma is less expensive and has great reviews. This will probably be my choice but I would love to hear other peoples thoughts on this.

Should I :

:bulletred:1. Get the Canon

:bulletred:2. Get the Sigma

:bulletred:3. Wait for a new version of either one of these because they are both old lenses.

:twocents:Please comment if you have any advice or experience with these lenses.

I wanted to tell you about a new tripod that I bought. It's called a Joby Gorillapod SLR Zoom. It is a little flexible tripod that weighs only half a pound. You can attach a camera directly on it or mount a ballhead to it. It will wrap around things like trees or chairs. It holds my XTi up with no problem. I just love this thing for it's ease of use. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a lightweight travel tripod. I plan on using it when I go hiking. It has already proved it's usefulness while I was in Jamaica. I like to get low when taking my landscape shots and this is the perfect height. If I want to get any higher I'll just find a tree or rock.

:plug:Check it out.[link]

Thanks :handshake:
Josh

Wow, your gallery is amazing. I'm so impressed by how well you capture birds and nature scenes. Being a native Wisconsinite, your photography really warms my heart. There's so much beauty there, in amongst the doldrum ho-hum lifestyle of the people.

Thank you for sharing your art. I love it.

I used to be alive
Now I feel pathetic and now I get it
What's done is done you just leave it alone and don't regret it
But sometimes, some things turn into dumb things
And that's when you put your foot down.
