Artist's Comments

I was out shooting the sunset when I noticed quite a few people standing by the tracks. A little later I heard this train coming. It was an old steam engine that was going back and forth on this stretch of track. It looked like they were having fun. Enjoy this one.

cool, i haven't seen tracks that looked just like that before.
this shot was done really really well, especially because of the point from where you took the picture. i love where you put the train too (at the side) it gives this piece a great composition, and the colors are really nice too.

Thanks so much, I had a lot of time to find the right spot to sit. The train kept coming back and forth. Glad you liked this one.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if I should go with total black and white or just a faded color look. In the end I think I made the right decision.

Thanks, I got lucky with the lighting. I was at the right place at the right time. I never thought I'd take a picture of a train at all. Still when something neat comes my way, my first instinct is to shoot it. Glad you liked it.
